More mixed west whilst the east is warm and drier
The weather stays mixed this week with a west-east split across the country. More northern and western areas tending to see the most of any rain and showers. Eastern and southern areas being drier, although not without a few bursts of rain or showers. Its likely to be fair warm for all and potentially very warm in the east and south on some days.

Thursday 18/6/26 A front trails through southern Ireland, Wales, central and eastern England bringing cloud and rain or drizzle through Thursday morning, most of it in the west. A few brighter spells in the far south of England although always the risk of low cloud on coasts. Showery bursts of rain and lots of cloud for western Scotland. Highs at 26C in sunshine in southeast England, generally 20 to 23C and 15C in northwest Scotland.
Friday 19/6/26 Another front extends through Scotland and into the west of Wales and eastern Ireland on Friday. Further cloud and periods of rain here. Brighter and drier in central and eastern England with sunny spells. Highs at 30C in the sunshine in eastern England, 18C in Ireland and 14C in northwest Scotland.
Saturday 20/6/26 Sunny spells and dry for most on Saturday although perhaps more cloud in the east. Further cloud and outbreaks of rain in western Ireland and western Scotland with a front close by. Highs at 29C in southeast England, 18C in Ireland and 15C in northwest Scotland.
Sunday 21/6/26 Cloud and a few spots of showery rain here and there in southern Ireland and Wales on Sunday. Further patchy rain in northern Scotland. Otherwise dry with sunny spells. Highs to 29C in the southeast, 16C in Ireland and western Scotland.
Monday 22/6/26 Further cloud and some showery spots of rain through Wales, England and Ireland on Monday. Probably brighter in Scotland. Perhaps dry in the far south of England. Highs at 28C in southeast England, 16C in Ireland and 15C in Scotland.
Tuesday 23/6/26 A ridge of high pressure probably brings a fair day on Tuesday for most. Some rain in northwest Scotland and western Ireland. Highs at 16 to 25C.
